After Thursday’s midday sunshine turned into an apocalyptic downpour, many practical people of New York abandoned their evening plans. But the rest of us went to OAK for a party hosted by Obesity and Speed.
The New York-based brand paired with Kanon Organic Vodka, successfully littering Bond Street with fashion’s junior mafia, models-turned-musicians, and 24hour party people.

It's been awhile since we've done our last Kirill-inspired street style post - so there was a lot of scandalous new material to sift through and pull trends.
It never takes long to determine la mode de la minute: New York falls fast for trends and then rejects them even faster. And at this very second, the kids want stripes.
Now, I know that a "stripe trend" wouldn't be all that earth-shattering. Jason Wu, Isabel Marant, IVANAHelsinki, and Kimberly Ovitz were all parallel to this trend back in September -- but now that the typically-daytime look has descended into nightlife, you know these freewheeling fashionistas mean business.

Fashion and nightlife have been reunited in New York, once again.
They say finances are the cause for most break ups, and for a fleeting moment, fashion looked at nightlife and said, "I liked you better before the recession."
Alas, all beautiful unions seem to find a way to work through the hardships, and party photographers like Kirill and Nicky Digital have been there to capture the renewal of vows.
This month's romantic destination? Your wrists. Bangles aren't enough, ladies. This revisited fling requires more: Texting Gloves
