Procrastination has been ‘in’ for a long time. We were going to come up with a new coping mechanism, but we decided to do it later. Instead, we replaced “laundry day” with “send laundry to the wash-and-fold.” But then we replaced that with “go to Fiorentini + Baker Anniversary Party” and “attend Bar III Launch Event.”
While these activities were much more fun, there are only so many times you can pass the sniff-test.
