During a recent bout in France for D-Day commemorations with the Premiere Famile Francais, First Lady Michelle Obama (who single-handedly banished the dark age of pastel pant suits known as the Bush Administration) outshined former model and French First Lady Carla Bruni at her own game. In a Narcisco Rodriguez sheath and Marc Jacobs coat, Michelle truly stands out over the equally chic but more-traditionally so Bruni.
Needless to say, District L approves.
