On March 23, Gallery Bar got a taste of clamor-glamour as Damon Johnson celebrated "The Beautiful Chaos: A Style Installation." Johnson's exhibition unearths the synthesis of street art and fashion using WALLS 360 graphics.
If you couldn't make it out to the reception event, check out the beautiful chaos here.

When your daily motions start becoming routine and you find yourself sitting at the same Sunday brunch locations week after week, you know it's time to step out of the box -- This is New York, after all; there are no excuses for living in monotony.
Slip out of your comfort zone and into something memorable.for a weekend of new-boozing and subconcious contemplation.

As you head over to Bowery's New Museum to check out George Condo's "Mental States" exhibition, make sure to dress the part. Nothing accurately communicates one's unrelenting mental condition quite like properly applied punctuation. When paired with a mimimalist Lois Eastlund minidress of maximum graphic proportions, a girl can still grab glances on either side of Delancey.

And as quickly as we learned to say it loudly in Helvetica, Plastique Shop creates more shiny irony for us to wear during these weekend escapades.

After an hour or two of cerebral celebration, it will be time to shift into another mental state achieved only by determined brunching. L'asso on 192 Mott Street combines Dov Charney-like decor with modernized Italian cuisine and a Shazam-worthy playlist.
Before sauntering deep into Nolita, be sure to prove your devotion to Italian design -- as it is always appreciated just north of Canal. A pair of Cesare Paciotti shooties will certainly evoke a "ciao bella" or two as you make your way down Mulberry. Just keep your balance on those uneven sidewalks.

After a short abeyance, DL returns with avengence - for there are parties to be had, events to attend, and runway coverage to report. It's a tough responsibility, but we do it for YOU.
Ok, that's a lie... we do it for us. But as our dear readers, you will always be the third-party beneficiary to our continuous tomfoolery.
First things first: After an abundant (CAPSULE) Trade Show - and an equally ample afterparty - we spoke about Ivana Helsinki's crisp F11 collection, which was inspired by Finland's first signs of frost before a long winter. Pirjo Suhonen, sister of designer Paola Suhonen, followed up with DL to send along this video for the 'Velvet Lake" runway.
In addition to the fantastic runway clips we continue to amass, it's about time to divulge some upcoming fashion news: Emerging designer, Stacy Lomman, gained enough support on Kickstarter to fund her own runway show this month. On Wednesday, March 30, Stacy will be debuting her latest collection at Stepping Out Studios. Her looks are set to step out at 1:00pm.

Last, but not least! The Beautiful Chaos, which was postponed from last week, is going on RIGHT NOW. So, if you can hurry down to Gallery Bar, you might just see me there.

Pyramid Club. WHAT?!
The Black Soft, hosted by Omen PR and East Village Boys, drew a crowd last night unlike the usual St. Patrick's Day spongers. And yes, there was an open bar. But it was a healthy open bar, stocked full with Kanon Organic Vodka. Did you hear that? ORGANIC!

On FASHEMATICS, fashion is always the common denominator. If we were in the business of creating style formulas, we would add Gucci SS11 with STOMP to come up with the rhythmic NET-A-PORTER video below. I've already watched it about four times and I still can't figure out how fringe could possibly be that loud.
Just buy what you love. We do.
Maybe that's why ChaseBank AutoInfo is texting us like a derranged ex-boyfriend.
But putting our own fiscal irresponsibility aside, we'd like to fill you in on a fabulous event hosted by Blaise + Co. On March 24 at Marianne Boesky Gallery, international and emerging artists will be exhibited anonymously to give buyers an option to buy art without pretension -- just buy what you love! You'll find out the names of the artists at the check-out station.
And if you find that you LOVE EVERYTHING, take comfort in the fact that the drinks are free. Why do you think we love Sunday brunch so much?

Kate just can't get enough.
Here is the leaked 90-second clip of her Dior ad for "The Iconic Lipstick," which will be hitting stores next month. Enjoy.
