The lamé legging has a new BFF, and possibly a new rival. Frenemies anyone? Printed leggings have been surfacing as a new emerging trend for Fall 09 all over the catwalk this week.

Be on the lookout- the lamé legging hasn't made any indication of an imminent departure from the consciousness and wardrobe of the style public. Some of our more "fun" designer friends (such as DVF and Miss Sixty, above) have embraced the printed legging wholeheartedly. Expect this street trend to surface more and more the closer we get to September.
